Two Player teams playing head to head matches with other two player teams. Matches will be played on Monday evenings.
Format: Two man teams playing nine holes. All matches are played using the difference in handicaps. Teams will be playing on a stroke & match play basis.
Top teams will qualify for the playoffs.
League rules will be handed out at the league organizational meeting to be held on Monday March 31st at 6:00 PM in the Cool Creek Banquet Room.
When: 5:30 PM Shotgun start (5:15 PM in April and September) Monday evenings starting April 7, 2008. League Playoffs will start August 25, 2008.
No play 5/26, 7/1, and 9/1/08.
League Fees
Entry fee $25.00 registration per player (covers handicapping, year end prizes, and banquets.) Applications will not be accepted without this fee.
Weekly Green fee $16.00 + $3.00 prize fee. Optional cart fee $5.00.
Players from 2007 will be given preference if entered by 3/3/08. League entry deadline 3/24/08.
Golf shop credit will be awarded to weekly and year-end winners.
The golf shop staff at Cool Creek Golf Club will be responsible for explaining all rules, and running the event, which includes scoring and handicapping. Ability at golf is not a major concern to management, however speed of play is. If you are not able to play 9 holes in less than 2 hours and 15 minutes you will not feel comfortable playing in a league at Cool Creek Golf Club. Rangers will require pace of play to be maintained.
